After working as a paralegal for 12 years in Criminal Defense, Lisa Yulo became a licensed State of Connecticut bail bond agent and bail enforcement agent. She later developed the New England Bail Bond School. New England Bail Bond School is one of only a few bail bond training schools in the State of Connecticut.

It is mandated by the State of Connecticut that anyone employed as a bail agent or running a bail bond agency must first obtain either a Professional License issued by the Commissioner of Public Safety or a Surety License issued by the Commissioner of Insurance.
